Preparing for IJKC#7

You are kindly invited to the 7th edition of IJKunstCollectief where my latest serie ‘De Dagen’ will be on show. The are made of gold wax on plexiglasphoto’s.

Subject is the sky with clouds, as I see them: full, sensual, energetic. They surprise me each moment of the day with unique sky-sculptures. For me, they visualize the endlessness of the universe and makes me aware of being a temporary, tiny spot in it. What is the meaning of that tiny moment of me being here? What is time? By scratching lines in patterns in the surface of the plexiglas with a screw I make it tactile: The Days give structure and meaning to my life, and make past, present and future tangible.

When: April 1 and 2 from 11:00-17:00
