Duckweed

My eye is captured by details in the (urban) landscape: patterns, structures, colour and the light on the skin of things. This work for example is inspired by how the water in the ditches and the air influence each other. They depict how these impressions slide over each other and yield new compositions with endless colour shades. I want to draw the attention of the viewer to the beauty of the everyday in a world in which everything has to be quick, big and compelling.
